Employee Commute Program Workshops, NBLC Partners with 511 to Offer Free Tools for Employers
Free Workshops on Tele-Work and Employee Commute Programs
May-June 2008
After the huge success of the 2008 North Bay Transportation Summit, NBLC put the objectives into action by offering free employee commute program workshops to the business community. In collaboration with 511 Regional Rideshare Program, these workshops were/are able to offer information on tele-work, and employee commute programs. Attendees were able to gain valuable tools and insight on:
- Increasing employee productivity;
- retaining your workforce;
- jump starting AB32 compliance;
- greening employees' commute;
- qualifying for tax benefits;
- become a leader amongst other employers and organizations in the North Bay!
NBLC is committed to action around regional issues, and the transportation summit was the first in an ongoing series of discussions around improving transportation in the North Bay. NBLC encourages employers to join us for these important follow-up workshops where employers will have the opportunity to gain insight on telecommuting or how to implement an employee commute program. NBLC believes that these ongoing workshops will give business the appropriate tools to be a part of the solution when it comes to alleviating congestion on the 101 corridor in Sonoma and Marin Counties.
