NBLC Hosts Affordable Housing Workshop
Employers Empowering Homeownership

North Bay Leadership Council hosted a housing workshop “Employers Empowering Homeownership,” on March 6 in Petaluma. The workshop urged employers to enable their employees to become homeowners by taking advantage of the current unique window of opportunity in the North Bay, where housing prices have dropped making homes more affordable.
The workshop provided education on leveraging tools such as low interest rates and other financing mechanisms. Utilizing the “Workforce Homeownership Initiative” program, created by Northbay Family Homes and Community Forward (California Land Title), this workshop demonstrated ways to expand homeownership opportunities for the North Bay workforce.
