Welcome to North Bay Leadership Council’s website!  

North Bay Leadership Council (NBLC) is proud to be a leader in seeking sound public policy, electing balanced decision-makers and advocating for a better quality of life for all residents within the North Bay region.  NBLC members are companies, educational institutions, and community-based organizations that are united in their efforts to promote a healthy economy and environment, find solutions to the challenges of the region, and strengthen relationships between business and community leaders and elected officials. 

In our seventeen year history, NBLC has provided a clear voice in policy discussions and education; encouraging legislators and the public to learn more about economic vitality and how strong businesses give back to the community.  NBLC represents a multitude of business entities within the North Bay region with a workforce in excess of 20,000 employees.  NBLC and its members are active in public and private partnerships that provide leadership, funding and other resources to the community making the North Bay region one of the world’s most coveted places to live and work. 

NBLC is a unique organization, as the only business council focusing on regional issues in the North Bay.  NBLC tackles the tough issues including transportation, workforce development, housing, water policy, and fiscal reform, all of which require regional collaboration to find realistic solutions that can be implemented.  NBLC works to find solutions that won’t sit on the shelf and that can be accomplished in a realistic timeframe.
